These are the services Touched by Angels provides:

Senior Care

Many of today’s senior’s reside at home or in assisted living, but are unable to maintain a comfortable lifestyle on their own. Created to service the growing senior population, Touched By Angels provides professional, compassionate care in the privacy of your own home or facility. Our Angels are there for you, for family members and for busy relatives or friends. With Touched By Angels, a helping hand is always there. Seniors can maintain their independence and continue to enjoy a fulfilling life.

Your family’s well-being is our first concern. We have helped hundreds of seniors and people of all ages to stay in their homes or be cared for in a facility when ill, disabled, aging or dying. Regardless of the type of residence, we are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for excellent personal care, homemaking and caring companionship. You will be able to rest easy, knowing you are getting the best care possible.

Transition to Home-Care – Hospital/Re-Hab to Home

If you live out of town or work responsibilities do not allow you to personally transport or care for a loved one at home, we can help. Our professional care transition team will provide seamless, compassionate, expert assistance in the crucial days, weeks or months following a hospitalization or re-habilitation.

The key to ensuring recovery and return to a previous level of independence, besides caring family support is continuous, responsible, organized care after a hospital stay or outpatient procedure.

Our professional care manager and discharge planner will meet you at the facility to help manage and plan all your homecare transition needs with our patient care transition assessment. Our transitional care nurse will make a home visit immediately, followed by the arrival of our highly trained expert caregivers. The Care Manager will follow you closely to make sure all your family needs are being met, help prevent overwhelm and speed recovery.

Hospice Assistance Team

Supervised by our RN, our Transitional Care Manager and specially trained Hospice CAREteam will provide relief and assistance in your home or at a skilled nursing or assisted living facility, for optimum end-of-life care for your family member. We offer a partnership of skilled and compassionate support when your loved one’s health takes a final turn or a cure is no longer an option.

Working closely with your physician, local hospice agency, your loved one and family, we provide care with dignity and respect in maximum comfort, at this treasured and challenging time. We will assist you with the caregiving and housekeeping tasks you’d like to delegate to us, so you can be free to focus on enjoying valuable quality time with your loved one.

Recuperative Care

Life is stressful enough when you encounter short-term illness. Let us help. You deserve all the assistance you can get. We provide services to those unable to perform everyday tasks due to illness or disability. Our compassionate caregivers are often a high-point in the day, for someone who may be confined to their home.

Respite Care

Respite care provides relief for family or friends. Our Angels can do much or all that your loved ones have been doing, so they can take a much-needed break. Studies have shown that if the family or friends who are caregiving their loved one, do not take care of themselves – they too will often become ill. Self-care is the most important way you can make sure your loved one continues to be cared for.

You’re in Control

Whether it’s a few hours a week or full-time care, Touched by Angels is committed to provide you with the most flexible and supportive service. As people age, they’re forced to give up more and more control of their lives, but choosing in-home care keeps you in control – in familiar surroundings.

You choose how much help you want — from a few hours a week to around-the-clock 24/7 care. We’re flexible. We can work around doctors’ appointments, work and social schedules, eating and sleeping patterns and all of your unique personal daily needs and preferences. We will meet your needs and your schedule. We’re here to speak with you seven days per week, and your care can usually begin within twenty-four hours of your initial call. Hourly, daily or weekly care is available and our first visit, a professional in-home care assessment is free of charge.

The Business of Caring

Touched by Angels personnel choose their vocation because they care about people and enjoy having a positive influence by helping others. Caregivers and the entire staff are rewarded and recognized for their work, ensuring consistent employment and excellent service to our clients. Our caregivers are supervised by our RN and our Care Manager, and supported by the entire CAREteam.

Each Touched by Angel’s caregiver is also carefully screened – with an extensive background check and fingerprinting. They are insured, bonded and thoroughly trained to ensure you receive the highest quality care available.

TBA is directed and founded by Denise Spear, who decided to provide our community with a much-needed service over ten years ago, due to her own end-of-life experience with her parents. As one of our clients so aptly described our business:

for it’s clients as if they were their own family members”
